August 4th - Louvre - Part 2: Andrew and Jackelyn Portray Artwork

Jackelyn with Portrait of Madame Flandrin, by Jean-Hippolyte Flandrin. ("Andrew...")

This has been a habit of ours for a long time. By recreating the pose it helps me personally to understand the subject's emotion the artist is trying to convey.  So:

Jackelyn as Horus.

Andrew as a granite monkey.

Jackelyn's feet as granite feet.

Jackelyn as The Fortune Teller, by Caravaggio.

In this painting, the fortune teller is tricking the young fop by telling his fortune and attempting to steal his rings.  You can tell because she is smirking.  He probably deserves it.

Jackelyn wouldn't play along with this one.
